Kidde PLC and since their takeover by UTC, it has become the
European Data Cente for UTC. When Kidde originally decided to
consolidate its global IT systems at the company’s Colnbrook
headquarters in the UK, at a cost of more than £16 million, Project
Manager, Matthew Preston, needed to build the right environment for
the high-specification computer systems he planned to install
without any disruption to existing services. | | The Data Centre - Working closely with
Kidde and now UTC, END2END have designed and built the Data Centre,
Operations Bridge and IT Helpdesk area. The DataCentre includes full
N+1 (tier2) facilities including a standby generator to combat local
